ford 4000 3cy diesel waterpumbp replace without remove radia

I have seen a thread or 2 or 3 that I cant seem to find searching on here detailing how to replace the water pump without removing the radiator.
could someone help me find one of those threads or guide me please?

It's not much more work to remove the radiator than it is trying to fish that thing out of there with it in. It's much easier to scrape that stuck-on gasket on the block with the radiator out of the way. Stated another way, the time savings aren't all that great to leaving it in, in my opinion. As an added bonus, you can clean the radiator really well while you have it removed.
 
Agree.
And by removing the radiator you don't bend all the fins on it with the back of your hands. And simultaneously , skin the heck out of your hands.
 
The only time removing the radiator and grille shell isn't preferred is when the tractor has an industrial loader and hard nose like a 3500 or
4500.
