Clutch Adjustment Update

Bern, Did as you suggested, mounted clutch on flywheel on the bench. Set all dimensions per the IT manual, cycled the clutch several times and as you said, I was surprised how everything changed. Reset all dimensions and installed on the tractor. Won't know if it is OK until I start it up. Just finished overhauling the engine, so in the process of putting everything together.
I did contact YT and told them of the problems I encountered, said that they would make notes of the problems I had in case I have problems with it.
Thanks again for every ones input.

Thanks for the update.

One more tip for you: After you put the two tractor halves back together, tighten up the 6 engine-to-tranny bolts, and then hook up your clutch linkage. Adjust for proper free play and then make sure that you can feel the two distinct stages, and that you can turn the PTO shaft in the back (with the aid of an assistant) by hand when stepping on the clutch. Also make sure that it locks up again after releasing the pedal. If you do this test immediately after joining the tractor back up, you'll save yourself a lot of time if it has to come back apart for some reason.

Thanks, I will try that. Be nice to find a problem before everything is buttoned up. I'll have to see if my Bride will come up and push the clutch pedal for me.
Again, thanks for the help.
