Double clutch 5 speed cross shaft bushing

Hi All, I'm working on a 960 live pto transmission.. the cross shaft itself and the cross shaft bushing that are in the transmission case are very
wore. When you push down the clutch pedal it's really loose fitting and the shaft moves back and forth. I want to replace those bushing. The
different parts suppliers list new bushing for the 3 and 4 speed but not for this 5 speed live pto. The bushings for the cross shaft for the 3 and 4
speeds are very available at the different supplier including this yesterdays tractor parts store. The bushings for the 5 speed are bigger but no
supplies have them except for new holland for a lot of money like $50.00. The bushing that fit the 4 speeds are between $2.50 and $5.00. Can anyone
help me with a source for these bushing. The Ford number is NDA7508A. I dont understand why these bushing for the 5 speeds are not readily available
like the 4 speed smaller bushing. I went into more detail than maybe necessary in hopes this may help others as well. Mark in Wisconsin

I don't have part numbers for you but will ask: is this the clutch and brake cross shaft that goes through the transmission at the rear or the clutch shaft that goes through the bell housing?
If someone else doesn't have an answer for you I would take an old one down to your local bearing house and have them cross reference one for you.
My experience is that most bearings, bushings and a lot of seals on these tractors were generic, off the shelf parts in their day and still readily available from aftermarket sources.

Thank you Ultradog, That is a very generous offer. I was hoping someone out there would have a source so I wouldnt have to go through the effort if some one else had already done so. I was surprised I didnt get any response and very surprised this item isnt readily available like they are for the 4 speeds. I also would think this would have come up a lot with someone else who would be trying to tighten up sloppy clutch linkage on over 50 year old tractors. I will take the shaft and old bushing to our local bearing shop and get some bushing ordered. I will share what I find out with the forum but again a big Thank you for your offer to help. Mark

Did you ever find a resource for these bushings?

I am wanting to replace the clutch pedal shaft bushing on my Ford 850.
