Ford 2000 LCG

Ford made a couple of 2000 LCGs.
The early one had a 4 cylinder 134 ci engine.
The later one was a 3 cylinder 158 ci model and though it was called a 2110 it was a 2000 series tractor.
Which one do you have?
Both were very good machines.

Fine looking tractor. Most of the older 2000's I have seen are ford blue. Looks like good rubber in the back (cant see far tire), no power steering. Around here it is a $2000-$2500 tractor if it runs good.

Value varies on what part of the country you're in, plus the condition of the tires can create a large swing in price. The one rear tire looks decent in your picture, but the fronts need replacement. Another thing that will affect the price is which transmission it has. A 4 speed has non-live PTO and would not bring as much money as a 5 speed with live PTO.

Also, not everything on that tractor is a 2000 LCG. The hood and grill are from a 600 or 601 series tractor

Those very early 2000s were Red/Buff and still used the 601 style nose and grill.
Also, note there's no Ford script on the side of the hood like the 600s had.
A friend of mine has one just like this one but his still has the little 24" duals in the back and shorty front spindles.
This one looks like it has regular spindles on the front.
Looks like a 4 speed to me.

They were fitted out to ride low, so it was harder to tip them when mowing steep road ditches, etc.. Bald front tires don't tear up your lawn.

2000 LCG, 2110/5110 LCG and the 231/531 LCG, the golf course I worked at when I was in school had a 2000, 2110 and a 231. Unfortunately they wanted to upgrade to a Hydra-gang mower and the 2110/231 wasn't big enough. The 2000 was a 4 cylinder diesel with SoS, the 2110 and 231 were 3 cylinder gasoline with 8 speeds and two stage clutches. When I started working there the 2000 and 2110 had 2 little narrow rear tires on each side that weren't more then 8 or 10 inches wide, the tractors were pretty much worthless with those tires. We ended up spending almost $3,000 on the 2110 for new rims and tires to upgrade to the high flotation tires like the 231 had, boss still said it was still a lot cheaper than a new tractor. They went broke about 10 years ago, the 2110 was for sale in the classifieds on this site, least I was fairly sure it was the club's old tractor as it had the wrong tires, the double spool valve under the seat for the snow blade that used to go on it and the guy selling it said the tach needle had been bent and straightened and the lens replace with plexi glass. I remember the day the instrument cluster got broken, it was a shot off the tee during a Jr's tournament or Jr's day, the ball on the fly came from the back and went between the operator's body and arm, through the steering wheel, hit the tach and shot straight up he was still quite rattled when he brought it in that morning.
