Ford Industrial questions

This tractor is going to be sold at auctioned tomorrow and I'm thinking of buying it if I can get it right. No other info except what the pictures show. Lets assume it will run and I could tell from another photo it has a 3 point. I would buy it, remove the wheel weights and maybe give it a little TLC then sell it.

Wondering what it might be worth and can anyone tell if it Diesel or Gas?

Looks like either a 4500 or a 535 to me. The 535 was the replacement for the 4500 when the x600 ag series came 0ut.

Looks like it has a gas engine with the air filter cover at the back of the left side of the hood like that. A diesel 4500 would have an oil bath air filter instead of a paper cartridge, and a diesel 535 would have the air filter op at the front on the side of the nose, not back near the rear of the hood.

It's a 3500 or 3550 depending on year model
Air cleaner lid in the side of the hood says it has a gas engine
How ever buys it will need the wheel weights.

I zoomed in on the pictures and I think I can make out a faint "4500" on the side of the nose, so it looks like a gas engine 4500 to me.

I stand corrected. I didn't notice the rear axle trumpet in the one picture until I looked at it again after Destroked called it out as a 3000 series. That would make it a 3500 as the 3550 had the double reduction rear axle from the 4000 series.

Thanks Sean, I wasn't sure about the 3550, I knew it wasn't a 4500 from looking at the front axle, my 4500's axle is a little boxier and sweeps back, that axle is straight.
That tractor has the steering arm going to the spindle, 4500 has steering like a 5000 with a cylinder inside the front bolster and the steering arm goes into the bolster.

Well,
Despite other opinions, I think it's a 3500.
The side arm power steering says it's not a
4500 and the single reduction rear end with
outboard brakes says it's not a 3550.
I agree it's a gasser.
