4500 Ford Throw-out bearing -

- Has anybody had any luck with finding a throw-out bearing for a 4500 Ford using a 13" single disc clutch ?
- OEM Ford part # for the carrier assy is: C7NN7548M -
- Seems to be a really hard part to find w/o buying the whole carrier & brg. assy - New Holland wants crazy money for this & I only need the bearing alone. Haven't had much luck finding it -
- The old bearing measures: 2.36" ID x 4.33"OD x .87" approx.
( 60mm x 110mm x 22mm )-
- Bearing suppliers can get the bearing N 7025E or 20141040 , but are not sure this is a thrust face bearing as needed for a clutch release, throw-out application.
--- Any help out there would be great -
- PS - saw a post awhile back of another guy with the same issue, but not sure how he made out !

As far as I know that's your only option. Last one I
replaced for someone I looked at my aftermarket
sources and none of them supplied it. Used or
whole assembly from dealer is all I could find.

One more palatable way to deal with that dilemma is to buy a reman clutch kit from New Holland. IF the disc in the kit is correct for your 4500's build date. The kit has the bearing & carrier included.

-Thanks for getting back - We already have the clutch & p. plate so may be stuck there. I've tried the other suppliers and they show the part #'s I've listed, but most say the bearing is a Ball Bearing, not a thrust-type ball used for release brgs. -
- Everybody has the larger 4.5" ID brg. , but not the 4.36" - was thinking about having a sleeve made to fit the collar of the carrier to increase the ID to 4.5" and use the more common brg.

Has anyone found a solution to this. Is there a way to make the common 2.5 x 4 x .87 bearing work ?
