Ford 3550 735 Loader Aftermarket Cylinders

I need to replace the bucket cylinders on a ford 735 loader, which is on a '69 3550. I plan on replacing both cylinders

The rod on the right side cylinder broke in half.

Anybody know of a cylinder from surplus center or other source that will work?

Thanks.

Would this cylinder work?

Measure the closed length, center to center of the mounting eyes, and the stroke, and make note of the type and size of mounting eyes and pins, and find the closest one. That's what I did for the lift arm cylinders and the bucket cylinder on the Freeman loader that I put on my 4000.

I had a similar problem on a 4400 with the same loader. NH wanted $500 for new rod. Bought a piece of chromed rod cut to the right length, Had machine shop turn down piston end and thread and welded end off old cylinder. Cost about $100 and works like new.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I have just found myself with exactly the same problem. Any updates on this?
