Ford 3550 parts

Can anyone suggest the best source for parts for a Ford 3550 tractor ? Have an upcoming project for a friend to take care of some leaks on his tractor.

What leaks are you looking to fix?
This site is very good for a lot of general parts like injectors, brakes, clutches, pistons, rod bearings, gaskets and electrical stuff.
Some things like power steering parts or specialty seals for the hydraulic system are best found at your New Holland dealer.
Then other things like transmission input seals or wheel bearings and seals can be crossed over at any good bearing house if you can bring the old one in.

As Ultradog says, different sources for different needs. If the loader and/or backhoe hydraulics are leaking, lots of folks just take the leaking part(s) to a local hydraulic shop for rebuild if it's a cylinder or control valve that's leaking or to get replacement hoses made if it's the hoses that are leaking.

Thank you for the reply. The hydraulics are pretty straight forward and I have local sources. Looking for suppliers of parts for the actual tractor. ie transmission, diff, rear axles.

Gaskets and seals for transmission, rear axle, etc. should mostly still be available from any New Holland dealer. The New Holland brand (Actually Case/New Holland, or CNH, now a division of Fiat) owns the legacy of the Ford tractor brand in terms of parts.

Here is a link to the parts pages for the 3550 on the New Holland web site:

Thank you all for the responses and good info. I have been a mechanic on heavy equipment for 40 years, ie dozers, loaders, cranes etc. but just not up to speed on the best sources. Will follow up with your suggestions.
