hydraulic flow?

Guy I know has a 7710 with (probably) a broken 2/R shift fork. It's his TMR mixer tractor - lots of hours, fairly high hydraulic load.
He's looking for a backup for the 7710 - something he can use while it's being fixed. (He knows his red tractors are WAY thirstier) 7000
series is the smallest he wants - needs 1000 PTO, and doesn't want any less hydraulic flow than his 7710. So... would any of the older 6-
cylinder models have the flow he's looking for? He's also wanting an open station model. Thinking an 8700 or TW10 might fill the bill, if
he can find an open one.

Assuming the 7710 has dual pumps (which most did), an 8700 or TW10 will have slightly less flow, although not enough less to be noticeable. Biggest problem will be finding a 6-cylinder tractor of that era less cab.

Thanks, Bern. Yes, his 7710 has the dual pumps. I'll pass this info on to him. You're exactly right about finding one without a cab.

Don't know your location but Machinery Pete list a open station TW15 in Wisconsin. Look down south for open station stuff.
