1100 Ford Tractor opinions

Looking at a Ford 1100 4wd tractor. Good bad or otherwise? Any parts available? Are parts the same as any other models? Any advice greatly appreciated!
 
The 1100 is a great,tough tractor but very old
But the parts(excluding engine)are hard to find
VERY expensive to repair
Several wrecking yards might have parts
I wish they would have continued making them
I don't recommend buying one at this time
 


its a jap compact tractor made by shubura for ford.. yes, better than a lawnmower, but barely. can be torn up easily, and parts are all but impossible to find..

Dont get me wrong.. all "compact" tractors are lighter than regular tractors, but better than lawnmowers.. Treat them like a hd lawnmower and they last for ever, treat them like a farm tractor or construction equipment, and they self destruct in short order.

Farm tractors often last 6,000 to 10,000 hours before overhaul..

compacts.. well longer than a lawn mower (600 hours) but thats not saying much.
 
My questions would be how much and what kind of shape is it in?

I have a 2110 that's awesome, but realizing that I'm hosed for most replacement parts, at least new. Fine with me, I love it.

treat it like it somewhat rare collectable, because it is. It might run forever, but if your not paying a lot of money for it and it craps out, if you cannot find parts for it, part it out/scrap it, or park it and look at it..

They are great tractors, for lightweight use.

You say excluding engine, are engine rebuild parts available?
