Interesting Ford 2000 Super Dexta diesel tractor.

Can the lights be easily repositioned into the grill, as shown in the brochure?

Not sure what brackets you'll need to remount them there but yes that's what the two holes it the grills are for, although the bumper will block a lot of light, that's why most of them where moved up to the side's of the grill shell.

You may find the brackets are already in there. You will need to make sure that the lights are the slimmer type so they do not rub on the radiator. All English tractors had the lights there.

One of the best ever made... That gal had everything except power steering... Those of us who were privileged to have own one know how well they worked.

Dad traded a WD for a Dexta in 66, we sold it in the 80's, neighbor still has it.
It was the cheapest operating tractor I've ever seen, it would pull a set of 2-14's in sod ground for 12 hours on a tank of fuel.
Fuel tank held 7 gallons,
Our 850 burnt 25 gallons of gas in the same field pulling 2-14's in 10 hours.

The heads lights on the side look like the slim ones that may have been in the grill, most likely where moved up there.
My brother moved the ones on our Dexta back down in the grill behind the bumper.
After that I couldn't see shot at night with the bumper blocking the light.
