anyone familiar with the ford diesel motor in new holland 783 skid steer. i have water in oil and oil in water. very bad. pulled head and gasket looks fine, it,s a 333. 2.1... some things i read says it,s sleeved motor some saying not.

I think the engine is Perkins and I don't think it has sleeves. If there are sleeves you should see the a parting line around the cylinder at the deck surface.

A late model would be a Ford 201ci BSD333 engine. It wouldn't have sleeves unless it had a block repair

thanx i,ve ruled out orings on sleeves if there were some cause if was leaking there it would just have water in oil not both, this darn thing has got me stumped. i put head back on , plugged both radiator ,hoses going to head and pressurized with air thru temp gauge port and it holds pressure,is there an oil cooler internal on this motor that i,m not seeing. any info would help

No reason to be stumped. Fords rarely blow head gaskets or crack heads. If it is a 201 engine, you have a cavitation hole in one of the cylinders. Common as dirt. If the coolant has not been changed and coolant conditioner added at regular intervals this is a common problem. I have repaired dozens of them over the years. Pull the engine and take it to a machine shop, have it bored and sleeved back to standard. Do all the holes, not just the one that is leaking. If you don't, the one beside it will be leaking in six months or less.

The 201 is a parent bore engine.... but some got dry repair sleeves if there was a problem with the bore. As has been mentioned, cavitation
of the cylinder wall was a well known problem... and can generally be repaired by sleeving back to standard with a thick sleeve. I would
wager that is the problem you have. You'll need to pull the pan, then refill the cooling system and then try pressurizing it... then crawl
under and shine some light on the cylinder bores and see where the water runs out. Sometimes they also leak in the cam gallery...

Some of those engines also had an oil cooler in the oil filter base but I doubt you'd get that lucky although it's worth a shot. If it has
that cooler, you will see the coolant hoses going to the filter base..
