my 3 point will only lift about a foot high with a blade on it with the draft position control lever pointing to the front of the tractor or (horizontal) when the lever is pushed down almost have to step on it to get it to move but will lift the blade about 3 feet in the air but the lever has to be pushed back to get to work it keeps moving and or gets bumped out all the time gets to be a pain not sure where to start

I'm not quite sure what you're saying here. Breaking that long run-on into sentences might help. Are you talking about the draft control lever only "keeps moving and gets bumped out"? Or have you jumped to the lift control lever?

My best guess, among all my questions, is that you're looking at a worn cam follower pin or internal linkage problems. Sounds like you also need to tighten or replace the friction assembly on the lift control lever if that is what's "gets bumped out".

Yep, time to pull the lift cover. My 3000 was doing almost exactly the same thing. Cam follower pin was worn about 1/2 way through and draft control link was egged out. After the lift cover rebuild it's working great.

no problem is with the draft control lever if i have it pointed down lift seems to work ok but the lever will not stay down sometimes it it gets bumped or pops out and the 3 point wont lift
