640 3 point lift not working

3 point does not work. Lift reservoir had a lot of water with the oil so I drained and added fresh oil. No joy. Tried every position on controls, nothing. Bled pump nothing.
Went back a couple of weeks later, 3 point worked but all the action occurred in the top 1/4 of the quadrant. Must have cycled it 50 60 times and worked.
Finally got a chance to get it into my shop for clutch replacement, no 3 point action. After clutch replacement, tried 3 point, nothing. Bled pump, nothing. Pulled side cover couldn't see anything leaking and tried moving the position control valve but nothing happened. Check pressure as described in the FO 20 manual and pressure was where it needed to be. Yes, I followed the instructions to a T to check the pressure.
Not sure where to go now. Is the next step to pull the lift cover? What should I look for? Seems like something must be stuck as it worked one day nad then not again.
Any help is appreciated as I plan to pull the left cover if I can get the pin out of them left lift arm. That sucker is rusted tight.

Side note this tractor has a Sherman combo trans and I really like it!

Thanks all.

Actually, Hobo I took the upper lift arms off the jack shaft. Couldn't believe it. Took the bolts out and they slid off easily. Looks like someone may have put anti-seize on them. May still have to use your method if I need to get that pin out.

Well it is sounding like you may have a leak in the transmission, since your pump is making pressure and you have no movement or leak in the rear housing. It is not unusual for the hydraulic pressure tube inside the transmission to get rust holes. check that the transmission oil level is up to where it runs out the level hole, let it run for fifteen minutes and see if any oil runs out.

Pulled the lift cover today and tore it down.

Do think I need a new cam follower pin by chance?
