prior 4000 SOS

Friend of mine in NE is going to go look at this one, and asked me about it. Wondered what you all thought about it.

Looks pretty good. New tires, PS, remote valve (can't tell from photo, but looks like dual remove valve), good sheet metal, etc.

Is the blade and boom pole included?

Check that it pulls properly at low RPM with the oil at operating temperature. Same with PTO.

Yes, boom and blade are included. I can't tell for sure if it's a single or dual remote valve either, but has one set of hoses and couplers.

Decent looking old tractor.
I would make the seller knock off the price of a neck brace.

$3500 would be tops here IF THE SOS worked well

It appears to be in very good condition. 2nd gen SOS, new tires, nice blade, Provided everything else checked out OK I would call it a fair price.

how do you know it's 2nd gen? Could be 3rd.
