Rebuilding the Devil. It did not come with a Proofmeter so I ordered one. It has a brass post on the back with a hole and screw. Is this for a light? Or should I see if I blow a fuse?
Thanks

Yes that is for a light. Power wire to the screw and its grounded through the case.

While not original, this is how 99% of new gauges for these old fords come.

Thanks guys for the info. Got the proofmeter right here. As there was a big hole in the panel I had no idea of what was/is stock. Anyway it works, so that's half the battle.
Thanks again, No need to worry about a fuse

"No need to worry about a fuse"

The meter may not blow a fuse, but I always put a fuse in the
light circuit. Either a fused switch or a fuse before the switch.
