Control on transmission housing

I am curious what functionality this control (lever) on the transmission housing provides?

The pictured tractor appears to be a 1955 with the flat running boards. The one rod in your picture is tied to your clutch pedal, the other is tied to the rear wheel brake.

I'm not seeing ant 'control'.

As the other poster said.. I see a clutch pedal.. steering arm, and radius rod.

how about instead of drawing a box around 8 things, you highlight the part you don't know what is.. so we don't have to guess to help you???
