172 LP industrial engine

I recently picked up a LP industrial engine out of a forklift
hoping that it was a 192 but it is a 172. Block casting #C0NN
6015J. It's in real nice shape, been sleeved, looks like the
head has been recently done. Does anyone have any interest
in it?

I don't have a need for it right now but if it were close and
the price was right I might keep it around for when I do.

172's where sleeved engines, like Royse I don't need it but price and location could change my mind.

The later 172's were not sleeved. From what I've been told and ran across the ones that came with
the screw on oil filters came from the factory w/o sleeves but they could be added later & the ones
with the cartridge oil filters were sleeved. My 2 cents worth Greg NE

If it runs good, I don't think your price is out of line.
I'm 4 1/2 hours away though so that kind of puts a damper
on it for me until I come up with a need for it.
