Need venturi for Tsx813 or Tsx769 (Ford 172)

I am trying to locate a venturi for the Marvel Schebler carburetor on my Ford 172 industrial. Unfortunately the I.D. tag is missing so I am not sure which model my carburetor is, but from what I have read, the 172 came with either the 813 or 769. I see one listed on Mcdonalds that will fit the 769 but I do not see any listed for the 813, anyone know if they would be the same? Or is there a sure fire way of identifying my carb without the tag?

The TSX 813 was used on the late 801/901 (change over around SN 125000) and the 4 cylinder 4000. The early 801/901 used a TSX 662 or 769. The 662/769 mounting studs were spaced on 2-11/16" centers, the 813 studs were spaced 2-3/4". The stem (hollow bolt) on the 662/769 was 3/8" and the 813 was 7/16". The fuel line from the tank to the sediment bowl on the 662/769 was 1/4", the 813 had a 5/16" fuel line. The fuel shutoff valve was the screw type on the 662/769, the 813 had a lever operated shutoff. The 662/769 was used with the 310076 manifold, the 813 got a new manifold- B9NN9425A. The 662, 769 & 813 all have the load adjusting screw on the bottom of the bowl.

Okay well the mounting studs on mine seem to be 2-3/4 so looks like I have the 813, that helps. When looking at the venturis on Mcdonalds and carbs unlimited, they list them by size of throttle bore, I am just wondering where exactly that is measured? Just below the flange that bolts to the manifold? Or midway down the carb? Mine measures 1-5/16" just below the manifold but widens to 1-3/8" closer to the fuel bowl.

am not certain where the maker measured the throttle bore, but logic tells me that it should be measures where the throttle valve sits. I believe your 813 needs the 46-A247 venturi. Click on the blue number 46-247A for more details. Does you throttle bore fall within this range?

That is the one I was leaning towards, but I was not sure on what the inner diameter of the venturi should be, or if it is even that critical.

Whoops missed where it said that it actually fit the 813 model, I will give that one a shot, thank you very much for your help!
