cana someone help me determine the meaning of the production code for my Ford 545 backhoe? it is 2F22B. I need to work on a clutch that won't disengaged. Thanks .... Roger

that's one of the production dates,as you have a 545 they were built from 1979-1983 so that code would be
1982
June
22ed day of month
second shift
this date could be the date the tractor,the engine,the transmission,etc was assembled depending on what words were in front of the 2F22B.

to know about the tractor you need the number letter sequence that starts off with "model DD3???", that will tell you more about the tractor.
