Looks Worth it to Me

. . . if the engines quiet
and the oil pressure's high
the good Lord's willing
And the creek don't rise. :D

This is only the second one of these I've seen up here in the North West in 3 years and the first one was a non-running basket case.

New Rad
New Gas Tank
Good runner
$2600.

Ford 950

Would be nice to take to a show or add to the stable if you have other Ford tractors, probably worth the money if you have a need,

But I am an older dude, this tractor would be hard to get on/off for me, just saying

Also I do small plot truck patchs and I like to plant wide rows and cultivate with one row equipment

I would have no use for this style tractor

But it sure would look good all cleaned up and painted in Ford war bonnet color scheme

Right and nothing has come up so far that my lower slung Jube wasn't capable of doing.

Well my height makes a tall one easier but still, I definitely don't "need" it and i just had my 70th in Oct. Not much point in just collecting big machinery at our ages. :)

The point indeed . . . no practical use for it.

They sure [b:aed79e7ce2]do[/b:aed79e7ce2] look good all spruced up.
I really like the look of this 641 and I like this grille style the best as well.

Thanks,

Looks like a good price considering that the tires look very good. I really like my Ford row crops, I have three. I get a lot of use out of them, one doing real work, one pulling transfer sled and one making people ooooh and aaaah at shows. So the Jubilee fenders would be a negative to me, but now you can get new skins for $235.00 each.

Of course brackets would take a little hunting.

Till you said the price was OK i was thinking I had jumped the gun on price; no doubt he'd take less too I expected. Here I am importing photos from an auction and you have three of these. What a beaut in the photo!!

I didn't even notice the incorrect fenders! :)
That would help leverage the price down.

Tell me . . . I assume that all the holes in the frame are for cultivating type implement mounting, but in three years I have yet to see one of this line of Fords with anything mounted.

Thanks for the photo,
Terry

P.S.

Almost looks like a bucket under the rear of the engine to catch rear main drips. (?)

All three of mine are NFE and two had loaders mounted when I got them. I have seen very few with cultivators, but a big, many generation, vegetable farm not far from me had a 740 with mounted cultivators. It sold at auction 2-3 years ago, and despite some serious problems it went, I believe, for $3400 or more.

It's easy to add lower steps that hang off the current running board.

I have a 950 with 14.9-28 tall rubber on the back, and -SL tall rubber onthe front. That lower step helps.

Sound N,

Is the depth of the tire itself, just proportional to the width (14.9)
i.e., the wider, then the deeper or taller overall?

or is there also a "tall" profile or style.

What does "SL Tall" mean? single?

Thanks,
T
