Ford 800 rear axle shaft

The 800 parts book shows rear axle #B9NN4244A. This is the later replacement axle with 38 splines. Doesn't show the
original part# axle with 16 splines. Does anybody know the original part# for 16 spline axle? Thanks!

No, I don't. You can use the newer 38 spline axle if you change the side gear in the differential to match. But I don't have one of those axles either. Got the side gears!

Just curious what happened to your axle, I never heard of these tractors being prone to breaking axles, usually if anything they broke axle housings when overloaded

Is the 600 and 800 axles the same? I
know the differential is bigger but
wasn't sure about the axle shafts
