BradinPa, did you ever find that Bobcat solenoid no.? My 8730 has lost dual power and solenoid is new, I replaced it four years ago with complete new valve from NH. Just need solenoid coil this time also, Thanks

Look up the original Ford part number in the system for the appropriate transmission.... then google the part number. You should find a parts supplier in the UK that sells them. I bought one a year ago. It was around $150 or so I think by the time it got here in a Royal Mail envelope. Works like a charm. The alternative for me was about $1000 for a new valve and there was nothing wrong with the valve.

Search posts by dieselpup or subject "7710". Mine went out a few years ago and he found the bobcat number and posted it here. Was around $20 and a small nylon washer to snug up the fit.

I tried going the bobcat route with no luck. If your solenoid is E1NNN982GA same as a 7710 I got one from NC spares in the uk for less than $200
