I'm swapping a 671 engine onto a 850 transmission and rear, I remember someone before mentioned the different thicknesses of plates behind the flywheel, am I remembering correctly that the plate stays with the transmission, i.e. I need to use the plate from the 850 engine which was thicker like 1/4 as opposed to 1/8 on the 671 engine?
