Hooking up a Ford 772 loader to my 5000

I have another question, I'm hooking up a
772 loader on my 5000,i already have the
adapter block under my remote lever so I
have full time power to loader without using
the remotes in back, I have a 2spool valve
and am not positive how to hook it up, it
has a regulator valve on tying the in and
out ports together, that leaves 2 more
ports for 4 lines, that math doesn't ad up
to me, or am I missing something? The
ports are in the front of the valve and
there is possibly 2 more that are capped
maybe on the top of valve? I'm not to sure
how to hook the lines up, anyone got any
pics of their set up?

This is the valve I'm using, but I'm thinking that I need a total of 6 ports, 2 for the bucket, 2 for the arms and then the pressure and return, I'm not sure what to hook up where, any help would be great, thanks

I don't know what the regulator you mention is.
If you have that power beyond block below your remote valves then just hook hoses from the pressure and return ports to the corresponding ports on the 2 spool valve and mount the valve somewhere.
A 772 is pretty light for a 5000. They were designed for 3000/4000 sized tractors. Be careful with it as you have enough HP to bust it up pretty easily.

Thanks, for the reply, I wish I could post a picture of the valve, and yes, it is kinda light for my tractor, but it's only going to be moving round bales, max weight 1200 Ave weight 900lbs, I don't have a bucket for it, just the spike,

You're right, you need the six ports you mentioned. If you have a 2-spool valve, you should have those 6 ports.
While a 772 IS light for a 5000, Ford sales literature does list it as fitting the 5000, and even the 7000. As long as you stick to the bales you mentioned, you should be fine. I beat mine ip pretty badly, but I was moving 1800#+ high moisture bales.

Typical would be, looking at valve from handle end:
Feed in on left side & return out on right side
Main lift top left rear (toward handles) port to lift cylinders extend & left front (away from handles) port to lift cylinders retract
Bucket tilt top right rear port to cylinder retract (roll back) & top right front port to cylinder extend (dump).
Left spool should be longer due to having float position.
HTH, Dave
