Ford 2000 Radiaitor Replacement

My son used my 1973 Ford 2000 diesel as a land groomer and ran a stick through a numbenr of places. NH wants $500 for a new one :shock: I have found several aftermarket for around $200. The problem I'm running into is the measurements not matching the description. The big one is the 2 mounting bolts on the bottom. My mounting bolts have a 15" center to center. The ones I've seen have only 13 1/2" center to center. If anybody can point me in the right direction for a replacement that won't break the bank would be appreciated.

No oil cooler!

There are early and late model 2000's that have different radiators. You need one for a 65 and later.
To ease you confusion look one up for a 3000, it uses the same radiator.
There's one on the site for $200, part # C7NN8005H
 
Yes, this is the model I have been looking at but the mounting bolts are 13 1/2" center to center. Mine are 15" center
to center. This is where I'm having problems. My tractor is a U.K. version with the lights in the lower grill. Maybe
they had a different setup over there? So far, every part has been the same with the exception of electrical stuff.
I've called so many aftermarket shops and everything is 13 1/2". I'll keep looking. I was just hoping someone in this
community had run into this.
 

Not sure where your looking but on this site they don't list the mount bolt width, looked at several on ebay and only two said 13 1/2" which is true that the holes where the mounting bolts go in are 13 1/2 center to center, after the bolts are installed they are both moved out 3/4" in the slots. 3/4+3/4= 1 1/2+13 1/2 =15"

All 65 and later 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 7000 tractors have the same 15" bolt hole mounting, the difference in the radiators is number of cores, number of fins per inch, with or with out cooler, ect.
