I am trying to locate a fuel pump for a 172cid engine that is on a Waldon loader I recently purchased. It had a Carter 0-1900 on it (which failed) and I believe it was an incorrect pump for the engine anyway. I have searched and am trying to find one that can be purchased at a auto parts store, I saw in one thread were someone referenced getting one from Napa, but unfortunately I do not have the original pump off of the engine to match up with a new one. I know the original part number was D2JL-9350-A but I cannot find a cross reference for it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

try fuel pump for ford 6 cyl pickup.. bet it will work.

Any particular year/model? It would be a lot easier if I had the old pump to compare rocker arm length/angle.

Meant to say... '56 ford pickup,, 6 cyl... that series of pump fit most engines of that time frame.

if not.. build/buy a cover plate, and put an electric fuel pump on it.

Okay thanks I will check those out. I have been looking into running an electric pump, according to the reviews I have been reading tough, most don't last to long...
