Lower Link 3 Point Seals 4835/TL70

Went and got the seals at the dealer,but how do you install them?Pulled the bar out,but it looks like there is a seal housing of some sort that has to be removed?Thanks

TL series has a torsion bar housing you drop from below the rear axle center section and fish the seals out from the inside. I would expect the 4835 to be the same but maybe it is not. TN series have a two bolt housing on each side where the bar comes out. The seal and spherical bushing are serviced after removing the housing from each side.

I looked at the parts breakdown of both,same parts.So I drop that whole casting down with the bar through it,pull the bar out,the I can acess the seals?Nothing from the draft control to worry about when I pull this down?
Also Rick,it was the Forward Reverse synchronizer bad on this 4835.Reverse syncro ring was broke in 3 pieces.

Be sure the draft control lever and position control lever are both fully forward before dropping the housing.
