have a 600 ford i can't get it to turn over starter wont kick in starter runs fine out of tractor . Start button on transmission works correctly and has been replaced and tested. starter solenoid has been replaced. Battery checks out @ 12 volts all wires look good Help

Welcome to the forum.
What does it do when you push the starter button? Nothing?

600 series should have a 3 post, ground actuated solenoid.
It has to be hooked up with the battery and starter cables
hooked on the correct sides or it will not work.
If it is wired as original.

Another thing I would do is clean all the connections.
Wired original or not.
Both ends of both battery cables plus the solenoid wires.
Especially if it is still 6V. They need to be clean and tight.

"be sure starter is turning the wright way."

Unless I missed it, he hasn't told us if the starter turns at all.
In the tractor that is.
I don't see how it could turn the wrong way.

12v means nothing if that is a static check.

Hop it up, engage starter, measure bat volts starter engaged.
