I am up by Exeland. Is there someone in this area that can rebuild my 8N engine that you can recommend?

I just don't have the time right now to do it myself. I can do the rest of the tractor, but would like to have the engine done this winter.

Thanks for any help.

I'll have to think on that some. I've been doing more
and more of my own repairs because there isn't
really anyone around who really KNOWS Fords.
Cancer took both Harold Ypma and Dave Flohr, and
the guys at Stoney Hill moved. Main Creek Repair
near Conrath is generally well regarded, but they can
have quite a wait to get in... and I have heard (don't
know, just what I've heard) that they prefer not to
work on Fords.

I don't mind hauling it a ways for good work.

Years ago there was a guy I took an old Wisconsin 4 cylinder to, and he fixed it as best he could. He was located near Hawkins. East of Hawkins and a little south on a town road. Can't remember his name.

Would you know who I am referring to?

Thanks.

Jim

Thought of two who, while they may not specifically work on Ford tractors, I would fully trust to rebuild the engine. Kyle Kesan (and his son Brody), or Rod Marinucci, my now retired h.s. auto mechanics teacher. Both are in the Ladysmith area.
