The temperature gauge on my 71 3000 isn't working but I know how to fix it. Couple years ago I pulled the instrument panel apart and found the shunt resistor for the temperature gauge was burnt. I didn't like the idea of replacing the entire cluster with an aftermarket so put it back together and have lived with it not working.
What I am wondering is if anyone has an old cluster that was replaced because of a bad tach I could get cheap to rob the temp gauge parts from.
