Put a used water pump on my 4600 earlier this week.
A used pump is risky, I know. .. but it was here, and
the 'local' dealer doesn't stock them. Turns out the
seals in the used pump must have hardend when it
was sitting. Bearings are good, but they'll soon be
trashed, as it started leaking yesterday.
Whole point of this post is, beyond single vs. double
pulley, what is the difference in these water pumps?
The parts guy I talked to quoted me $130+ for a
reman. I asked him to check p/n 84366457R. That
one is $66 and change. Why such a price
difference?
