Jubilee question

Anyone know what these levers and oil line are for on a Jubilee?

They are parts of the Sherman live pto kit.
Uncommon, and a complete, working example I
think could truly be called rare.

I believe that is the "Live" PTO setup that was an option on the NAA. It is a hydraulically controlled clutch between the transmission output and the differential so you could run the PTO with the tractor standing still even when the transmission was in gear.

Looks to be a Dearborn "live PTO" add-on.
Basically disconnected the rear axle and let the PTO still work.
It ran off an auxiliary pump hooked between the hydraulic pump
and the proofmeter cable.
They're not too common and even less common if they work.
I had one that seemed to work but I didn't have the pump.
It wasn't worth much according to eBay.
I thought it was a Sherman but I was corrected.
Both in the below post and off line.

I had missed those replies pointing out the
difference between the Sherman and Dearborn
setups. Previously, I had only heard the Sherman
name in conjunction with these 'live' pto kits.
Didn't Ford (through Dearborn? ) buy Sherman?
Probably at a later date than when this was made,
though.

Has any one actually seen a setup with a accumulator. I have had three of them out and repaired and have yet to see one with an accumulator. The NAA LPTO might be scarce but the two I sold fetched me just $250 a peace. The third I have in my NAA. Maybe the difference between the Dearborn and the Sherman is the accumulator?
