860 Hydraulic Qusetion

I have a 860 with what I believe is a diverter valve and I have a few questions about it.

I'm guessing if I get it unseized and pull the nob it directs flow to the big fitting on the top. Does the hydraulic control that runs the 3pt then control this flow or is it a constant output?

Are any of the three plugs along the side of the valve pressure outlets or returns or just test ports?

What I would like to do is add a fisher hydroturn snow plow with the least amount of muss and fuss.

I don't know very much about hydraulics so any help would be appreciated.

Yup its a diverter valve. as you said it diverts the flow. mine did not have any plugs on the sides, so I don't know if they can be used for returns or not? but I know the main flow would be out the top.

I do not think you can control flow with the tractor's positon control lever. (at least that's how it was explained to me). Basically you would need the line from the diverter run to a hydraulic control valve to control a plow.
