Neighbors tractor... 4wd ts100 ... fwd/rev shuttle lever, then lever with up down buttons plus moves back and forth, then a high/netrual/low lever on the right. The middle lever is not marked clearly so I'm not sure at to if its a two range or 3 range lever. So I dont know if its a16x16 or a 24x24 but.... the fwd/rev lever was locked up.. He took it to the new holland dealer and they replaced the cable for the shuttle shift.. and it worked for two weeks, and now the fwd/rev lever is locked almost in center, and the tractor will not move. Lever will not move. center lever shows the electric 1/4 shifts with the buttons, and the 5 through 8 lights up when in high range. so the middle and right lever move and appear to work.

where the two cables go to a block under the floor board, dead center and on top of tranny, A cable/sensor is unplugged and a jumper wire in the cable.

Any clue as to whats going on the the shuttle lever not moving and tractor in "nuetral"?

Seems like you're dealing with a 16x16. The 12x12/24x24 would have manual shift forks for the range and main levers as well as the shuttle on
the 12. The 24 would have a power shuttle...
Beyond that I don't know enough to help you. Never been into one yet. Just the same I would think it would be a valve problem or mabey just a
lever problem...

Sounds more to me like an F/R synchro failure or if he is very lucky something has gone south with the cable replacement. I'd start rounding up some $$$$ for a synchro R&R.
