Wheel Restoration Photos

Checking out the price of New power adjust rims..I decided to restore the ones I had. $80 sandblast fee, $75 fee welding up any weak areas and approx $125 in epoxy primers, fillable primers, Glazing putty, sandpaper, Prep Clean and All metal (left over from another project) and 4 cans of Rustoleum wheel paint I think they came out fairly decent for a tractor I tend to use.

The Rustoleum wheel color is not exact match but close enough for now. Ford Argent was closest but the paint store wanted $25 can to mix up and I used 4.

Try making your pictures smaller. That is often the trouble.
I repair my original rims too when possible.
Especially the hat rims for the N's and PA rims.

The paint on this one is Rustoleum Hammered Silver.

On another forum that I frequent, plain old silver colored paint is referred to as wheel paint.
