601 diesel injection pump shaft

I've been stumped around here in trying to find a replacement injection pump shaft for a 601 Ford diesel injection pump. It sheared when the pump
locked up and I was just told be the Birmingham diesel specielest shop that it is obsolete??? Surely somebody is making these shafts. China maybe???
Anybody know of a source for this shaft???? I have fixed the pump that locked up with a donor pump head but just can't come up with the shaft???

Does it have to be new? I should have several pumps around here somewhere. Where are you?
