Ford Farming 2016

Hey guys, thought i'd post a video of the 661 pulling the Dearborn combine. Got her dialed in then the grain pan came
loose, we had some rain, and it's almost fixed for round 2, hopefully she'll hold together for the rest. The Wormaster,
other than a valve cover leak, is running great!

It's hard to make a good video. This was the first trial run and i was pretty nervous, but thanks.

One word, Awesome!!!!!!! Gives me the fever to get the ford combine we have up and running. It a neat feeling getting the old equipment out in the field isn't it.

Yeah, it's pretty cool. My grain pan gave way so i'm fixing that now, but yeah, i had it dialed in pretty good. Hopefully, i'll be going again tomorrow. Thanks!

Thank you, and everyone here for all the advice and support, encouragement on this project, it's been 2 years since i started this, and i gotta say, i love how this little 661 looks n runs :)

Couple of nice looking machines! I've seen threshers operating, but never a Dearborn combine. Mostly JD, IH and AC in my area.

Great video, gets better as you go. Nice to see the old equipment still at work. Oddly enough, I have two classic cars I take to shows and the local club, a white Camaro like in the video, and an old Willys wagon, like you have sitting there. Thanks for sharing, and God Bless! -Will

Nice looking equipment, my uncle had a tractor pulled JD with a bagger platform instead of a grain bin, don't remember what model it was. I remember me and my cousin bagging wheat while dad pulled it with his Ford 850.

I have been following your progress. You have done a great job. Does the tongue set over for transport on those or are they narrow enough that it does not matter? What is the cutting width?

Garry

Thank you! They made a 16-23 which is what mine is, the 16-24 had the bagger platform. Ford made these for a little while,
not sure on their model numbers. This is a REAL odd duck around here lol

Yeah, i bought that thing brand new in '92, it was a 25th anniversary, that would have been the car to lock away in a storage container, but, i was 29 and foolish. I love those willies, my next project is an Oliver 33 combine, and it has the same continental motor in it. Thanks!

Thanks, yeah, same here. Olivers are rare round here too. I'd love to make a trip to the Midwest with a flat bed semi, lol.
