New manifold

Well what I thought was a manifold gasket leak is a decent hole instead. Nothing a little JB weld can't fix right?

Is there anything else I should do before I put the new manifold on? I plan to clean the outside of the carb and fix the exhaust elbow. Just wanting to maximize my down time.

If you could use a little more power get the manifolds to the 801 instead. Carb also.

Greg1955 post/pix is what I would shoot for. I would have to fab up a strap to support the line somewhere tween the carb and front of the engine for my personal satisfaction.

The filter in your pix if the tank is dirty are rusty that is normally why they are installed. You may need a new tank good clean fuel is hard to beat.
