The rims match, the tires are close.
One is a brand new Harvest King, the other a like new Armstrong.
At least they're both 14.9 with 23 degree full bar tread.

Royse, do you have broad shoulders? LOL For what ever reason, I seem to always have a" hang-up" the way row crop Fords are presented, pictures or live. In the case of your second picture, the steering arm is laying on it's side. That's a No No in my way of thinking .The arm should be positioned directly over top of the cylinder. You will notice the bend in he arm should fit over the PS cylinder rear mount. OK, every body on my b*t. Thanks Royce for your shoulders. Your tractor, so you do as you like!!! I feel better already. LOL

Don't really need broad shoulders for that Wayne. :)
It's an old tractor that has been worked hard and put away wet.
Now it's a work in progress.
It does not have power steering but with the NFE it doesn't need it.
Here are a couple close ups of that steering arm. It needs help!
If someone has a non-power steering one available I would be
interested in buying it if shipping didn't kill the deal.

My 981 power steering arm is as you describe Wayne. Can you post a picture of the right way it should be.

Royse, you better lock that thing up! Soundguy & Sho wcrop (potty filter don't like Colin either!) may be on the prowl! LOL, Dave
PS: Nice job!

I'm too far away for souNdguy to come get it and they both
already have pretty ones, so I'm safe I think! :)
It has been around here for several years now so I figure I better
get it fixed up and looking as good as it works. Lots of projects!
Thanks for the compliment Dave. Joan and I work hard to make them
work right and look good. Although though we don't go for perfect.
