841-d looses prime

61 or2 841-d looses prime when I work her for a few hours and leave it sit overnight, go to start it and I have to prime it, has good fuel flow, doesn't hesitate or lack power, I am fairly new to diesels so any advice would be great, thanks!

i have had good results on older diesels with similar symptoms using a small electric fuel pump as close to the fuel tank as possible. Not only
will this help to keep it primed, it will also help find small leaks. Fuel will leak out now where before it might have been sucking air. The correct
police can take a hike.
