Select o speed question

I have a later model direct drive select o speed transmission that I am trying to repair. The gears it locks up
in are indicative of the direct drive clutch not releasing. I checked the spool valve and it is not stuck. Anyone
with some advice/experience to share?

With that scenario, about the only thing left is the clutch itself Warped discs or warped, scored or stuck piston.

I agree with Larry. Looks like a transmission teardown is in your future.
