ford 4500 backhoe hose routing

I blew a hose on my 1972 ford 4500 backhoe, I replaced a couple hoses a few years ago after blowing one, blew another so i'm replacing all of them this time, many look to be original. I have them all out and labeled, and while cleaning out a found a cast piece of bar with half rounds that look like the hose would fit into laying in the 6 inches of nastiness I scraped out of it. it seems to bolt to a vertical bar that is at the rear of the machine where the hoses exit to the boom. no luck getting any pics. Is this supposed to bolt to the vertical bar to hold the hoses? there was nothing holding them, many of them were worn were they pass through to the boom where the 4 indentations are on the side of the boom mount.
thanks for any help or pics of proper hose routing

there were several of the hose clamps used to keep the hoses out of trouble -

Thanks for the fast reply, exactly what I needed to see, looks like I only have part 18 or 19 on the bottom diagram. I'm missing a lot of parts, can these be bought anywhere, or maybe just wrap the hoses and hope for the best? I don't use the machine much, but would be nice not to chafe through the hoses again

I'm sure Ford/New Holland still has them, looks like the clamps are 40-50 each!, got any junkyards around you?
Most all hoes used clamps like this

I've got a 4500 Ford that I just bought several weeks ago and one of my hoses is spraying fluid inside the boom, I am not going back with the original hose route, going to replace all boom hoses and reroute them down the outside of the boom like some of the modern backhoes, waiting on this Alabama heat and humidity to go away so it will probably be October before I tackle the job. I'm going to weld brackets along the outside of my boom and use pipe along the sides and just use short segments of hose where boom pivots, swings and extends...
