Is your tractor still 6V or has it been converted to 12V?

It's available for your tractor. I just so happen to be installing a Pertronix module in a 640 right now and depending on your distributor, you might be using the same kit. I'm installing the 1244A. I got the unit installed in the distributor last night. I'll hopefully finish the wiring tonight. Since I am also using the 3.0 ohm Pertronix coil, I have to do some minor rewiring to take the ballast resistor out of the circuit. I started a thread yesterday asking for people to comment how they modules have been working out for them.

The ignition requires what type of ground and voltage you use. Whether you have 12 or 6 volt and which type of ground is used per charging system. Get those correct and you will be golden. Very easy to install.
