I HAVE A 1975 FORD 2000 DISEAL TRACTOR.I AM HAVING GEAR JAMMING PROBLEMS.SOMETIMES IT WON'T GO INTO FIRST AND WHEN IT DOES I CAN'T GET IT BACK INTO REVERSE.I HAVE TAKEN THE TOP PLATE OFF AND LINED UP THE SHIFT FORKS.SOMETIMES IT WORKS FINE AND SOMETIMES THEY ACT LIKE THEY ARE STUCK.I NEED HELP ON WHY THIS IS HAPPENING AND HOW TO FIX IT.ANY HELP IS GREATLY ACCEPTED.
 
Welcome. First a bit of internet etiquette. When you type IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS it is considered shouting.

Second, the 3 cylinder 2000 was available with a number of different transmissions so it's best to tell us which transmission it has. I assume that it is a 3 cylinder 2000, since that was the only one made in 1975, unless you got the year wrong, in which case it might be a 4 cylinder. How many cylinders does the engine have, and how many total forward gears does the transmission have (including both high and low ranges if it has them)?
 
I am sorry did not mean to shout.So the #on transmission case is c5nn 7006.It has two shifters one is high and low.The other I was told is a four speed with reverse.I have only been able to use two gears and reverse when I can get the tractor in it.I was told it is a 3cly.I also got this # off engine block d5nn6015g 5b23.Hope this can help you help me.thanks
