Replacing O-Rings on 4100 Remote

Added used Ford remotes to a 4100 and am getting small leak between valve body and housing. I have received new O-rings but can not find a good drawing of placement locations, including on the NH On-Line Parts Website. Does anyone know where I can get one before attempting repair?

Thanks for the info. I thought as much looking at the specs. And I do have the correct O-Rings - had to special order some from the local C-NH dealer. He had a few of the sizes in stock.

Dave,

I ordered from Chappell Tractor by the part numbers from the "Official New Holland Online Parts Store and Online Parts Catalog". The ones they had to special order came in sealed bags of 10 from CNH with the CNH Part Number and all the information printed on the bag by a laser printer. The parts manager also knew what I needed them for. So hopefully they are correct. Guess I'll know tomorrow.

Hopefully it will work out okay!
Just got 2 O-rings for remote couplers on 5610-2. Goose checked with Andy, in service, to make sure we got the right ones. haven't got around to installing yet!

Can you tell by looking at them??? I just looked at these, used a magnifying glass. The I.D. may have flatter wall than round. The O.D. appears round to me.

They should have a square cross section, like a lock washer, not a round cross section, like a chain link!
I will be at the farm all day, if you want to swing by with them

Had to drive today, tomorrow and Wed, in the afternoon. Didn't see your message until now. Will you be there tomorrow?

I'm also getting ready to mount a 4100 hydraulic valve and hope that nobody minds if I slightly hijack this thread. I put what seemed to be the right O rings in the grooves, and I have 2 left over. Can someone just look at the picture and tell me whether or not I'm good to go?

Thanks!

Looks like you have all the holes covered, unless there needs to be one on the other surface where the circle shows on the flat upper left of the photo.
Interesting that all the installed O-rings seem to be round cross section, but the 2 left in the kit seem to be the square cross section that I mentioned earlier.

If you can measure the cross section and the ID there is no need to run all over the place looking for a o-ring. The round o-rings will work just fine. This even works for a metric o-ring the specs are in the link.

I sometimes my self get crossed up on o-ring size using the CS and ID measurement most always gets me the correct o-ring fit.
