7710 draft control

I have a 7710 II that was a tiger mower tractor for the first 4000 hrs of it's life. It does not have the load monitor system the 3 point does not seem to sence load on the top link what should I look at first. For the first 20+ years it was only used in position mode.
 
What implement are you trying to use in draft mode? And what are your symptoms that make you think that draft mode does not sense the draft properly?
 
A 4-18 moldboard plow. It worked fine behind my 6600. It will dig in enough to kill the tractor and the 3 point will never try to adjust even in the lightest setting.
 
Are you absolutely sure it doesn't have a load monitor? Some were supplied without but they would have been the odd one....
Beyond that make sure you're using the top hole in the top link rocker. Make sure the gland nut over the sensing rod is tight... and make sure the system selector is fully forward. Beyond that all I can say is you have an adjustment problem internally....

It definitely does not have load monitor which must have been cheaper. It was a state Tiger mower tractor so the 3 point was only used in position mode and I am using the top hole for the top link. The control lever is set in the most sensitive position. I was hopeing I was missing something.
 
If it has no load monitor, it would have been special ordered without it because that was standard equipment on the 76/7710's. Not having one is not a bad thing, really...
