weeping power steering cylinder

got the power steering put on my 860, and 1 cylinder is weeping a bit. seems like a pretty straight forward job to replace the shaft seals. is it really as easy as pull the snap ring and put new seals in?

and yes I did measure and order the correct kit for my .500" shaft

This is a very simple job. Just make sure that your snap ring pliers have very small pin ends, as the holes in the snap rings
are tiny! Took me about 10 mins. per side to replace my seals (once I ground down my pins on my snap ring pliers to fit the tiny
holes!).

going to try tackling this tonight.

one question- how does the "tie rod" end of the cylinder remove from the shaft? I think I recall seeing a bolt and nut, so I assume loosen that and it unthreads?

got it done last night. man was that easy! Literally took like 15 minutes, and 10 of that was struggling to get the old seal out
