640 w/ loader hydralics

I'm thinking about adding a Fasco 1200
loader to my 640. The loader has a
hydraulic bucket and the tractor has a
single spool valve. Is it possible to
chain the lift arms down so the three
point control lever will control the
loader and the single spool vavle will
control the bucket?

Yes you could do that but your far better off to get a loader that has it own pump that is run off the crank shaft pulley up front. The tractor hyds are very very slow when working a loader and the front pump gives you better performance. Hope you have power steering because a loader can make them a bear to steer

Yes that would work, and in addition to what Old said.

If you still want to run the loader off the tractor hyds, then buy a cheap 99$ 2 spool generic valve from t he surplus shop or similar, tack it to the right fender, and use your single valve to power the dual, then the dual to the bucket/boom
