Having issues since day 1, my 8N still overheating. Back story, Replaced head gasket, water pump,
fan belt, thermostat, radiator, and all fluids. still getting to hot. have double checked the
position of the thermostat.
would be nice to be able to run it for more then 10-15 minutes.
thanks guys.

Make sure that the carb is not running too lean and that the timing is correct. The next thing I would check/do after that if you haven't already done so is flush the block.

A Sean says check timing and carb. Also if you have not done thins drain the cooling system then fill with vinegar and run it. Then let it cool and rig up a way to hook your garden hose to the block drain and back flush it with the garden hose after draining out the vinegar. Also if your filling the radiator all the way up and it then spits out some coolant it is not over heating your just fill it up to much. Only need to be coveirng the radiator fins but about 1/4-1/2 inch

The one we worked on last year didn't like having a thermostat in it.
I know some say it needs to be in there but it boiled over with it in and has been doing fine since it was removed.
Maybe it was a new faulty thermostat but--------
